Why does the relay not actuate when I press the send button?
If the relay does not actuate, this can be due to one of the following causes:
-The send button may be broken
-Insufficient power to the transmitter, time to change the battery
-No power to the receiver
Does your equipment stutter?
The most likely reason is that the stuttering is due to interference from your own equipment, e.g. from a winch or an electric motor.
To start with, check that your equipment is CE-labelled.
Then check whether the radio works when you have disconnected your equipment. If this is the case, you must neutralize the interfering elements. This is done by installing an interference suppression filter as close to the interfering equipment as possible.
Why has the range become shorter?
Start by checking the status of the battery, and replace it if it is low.
This problem can also be due to aerial cables being damaged or incorrectly installed, or to external interference originating from another radio.
What should I do if the 808×2-RF or 860TX-Xx transmitter does not start up?
If the transmitter does not start up when you press buttons 7 and 8 or 9 and 10, and the LED glows red, start by checking the following yourself:
- That the key switch is not in the OFF position
- That the emergency stop button is not depressed
- That the battery is not discharged or that a button in the transmitter is not defective.
How long is the range?
On the 460 standard system, the range is approximately 50 m, while on the 460 robust system it is approximately 100 m. On the 860 systems it is approximately 100 m. However, the above ranges are approximate and can vary depending on the surroundings.
